Remember, you were told there would be minimal disruption to traffic caused by the project, with traffic through Bowling, Milton, and Dumbuck junction. Well, that was another piece of deliberate misinformation about the City Deal project on the A82’s future. This is the project that local council taxpayers, who are frequently said by the public services to be broke, are agreeing to LOAN Exxon, one of the world’s richest oil companies, £6 million plus towards this work to clean up the HEAVILY POLLUTED site that they abandoned after 50 years, making £millions out of it. The picture above by Pedro clearly shows the disruption, with traffic heading east out of Dumbarton and up the Boulevard, which is said today to be heavily backed up on both the A82 and Glasgow Road in Dumbarton East through Newtown. Avoid the area if you can. Why can’t these people just tell the truth?
