Last night, the PS Waverley embarked on a special, one-night-only evening cruise across the calm waters of the Gare Loch. The 240-foot vessel sailed at maximum capacity, with numerous residents on board experiencing the historic voyage. Meanwhile, crowds gathered at the scenic Rhu Point vantage spot, waving and cheering as the world’s last seagoing paddle steamer passed by. And we got a blast of the horn from the captain.
