Helensburgh Community Council
We’re pleased to see that Argyll and Bute Council has been in Helensburgh today carrying out repairs to the benches in Colquhoun Square. We have been quite persistent in asking for maintenance to be carried out in the Square and are pleased that this year the benches have been cleaned as well as repaired. Thanks to the skilled joiner who has been carrying out the work. MEANWHILE, DUMBARTON AND VALE RESIDENTS ARE WAITING TO SEE WHEN THEIR TOWNS WILL COME IN FOR A TIDY-UP SIMILAR TO THIS. Maybe we’ll need to wait to until Local Government Reform for that to happen in West Dunbartonshire.
