It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our former President and Club Champion, Ronnie Jardine.
Ronnie was a hugely respected member of Renton Bowling Club, serving as Club President on two occasions, in 1997 and again in 2016, during our special 150th Anniversary year.
His achievements on the bowling green were equally impressive, winning the prestigious Club Championship twice, in 1988 and 1992.
Ronnie leaves behind a wonderful legacy at our club, and his contribution to Renton Bowling Club will always be remembered and appreciated.
On behalf of the President, Committee and Members of Renton Bowling Club, we would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to Ronnie’s family, friends and all those who knew him during this sad time.
Funeral arrangements will follow.
Rest in Peace, Ronnie. You will never be forgotten.
