WHAT A FIREWORKS AND FUNFAIR NIGHT AT WHITECROOK

Last night’s Family Funfair & Fireworks event at Whitecrook Park was absolutely AWESOME from start to finish!
A night filled with smiling children, laughter, excitement, and memories that will last a lifetime. Seeing our community come together and enjoy themselves was truly special.
There are so many people we need to thank, and we hope we haven’t missed anyone.
 A HUGE THANK YOU TO:
⭐ David Woodcock of Innovation Flooring for organising and funding the entire evening. Your generosity and selfless community spirit made this all possible. We cannot thank you enough.
⭐ Our amazing WCAG volunteers, who worked their socks off throughout the night. Your dedication never goes unnoticed.
⭐ DJ Kat Boyle and singer Jamie Wood for keeping everyone entertained and adding to the fantastic atmosphere.
⭐ The traffic stewards for keeping the roads safe and preventing mayhem.
⭐ The security team for looking after everyone and making sure the evening was safe for all.
⭐ The first aid team for being there to help if needed.
⭐ Jamie from WDC Leisure for kindly manning the toilets, and WDC and police for their assistance.
⭐ Thanks to Mathew Kelly for taking all the photos last night.
⭐ Special thanks to Emma Courtney Kerry & Joe for doing the entry gate.
⭐ Thanks to our volunteers, Linda & June, for doing litter patrol last night.
⭐ Thank you to small businesses for printing our hi-vis and badges.
⭐ Our councillors and MSP for taking the time to come along, join in the fun and show their support. It is appreciated.
BUT MOST OF ALL…
Thank you to EVERYONE in our community who came along and made last night so special.
A special mention to the young people and young adults of Whitecrook. Your behaviour, respect and consideration throughout the evening were outstanding. You should be incredibly proud of yourselves.
Massive thanks to everyone who met again at the park at 7.30 this morning for the clean-up; the park is now spotless
WE ARE SO PROUD OF OUR COMMUNITY.
As a small grassroots charity made up of everyday people who care about where they live, nights like this remind us exactly why we do what we do.
We are humbled by the support, generosity, and community spirit shown last night.
You were all amazing!
With love and thanks,
Whitecrook Community Action Group SCIO
