A refill of books by local authors is now complete at the Loch Lomond Craft Shop, Mitchell Way, Alexandria.  I am delighted to report that two copies of my much sought after Dunbartonshire social history book, All Our Yesterdays, have mysteriously disappeared from the shelves of this shop, which is well worth a visit. It is a proverbial Aladdin’s Cave of craft work and ingenuity by local men and women. Of course, the books were not stolen. The Vale’s a toun o’ honest men and bonnie lasses. Authors include Alexander Tait (Billy Scobie), Alan Sneddon, Mary Irvine, Paul Murdoch and me – Bill Heaney
