Jackie Baillie MSP has written to Alex Hynes, the Managing Director of Scotrail/Abellio to express her anger about the cancellation of a number of morning services which run between Dumbarton East and Balloch.
The virus is becoming more prevalent across the whole of Scotland over the last few weeks which has resulted in an increased incidence in some of our wards.

One of the schools where charges are imposed is Dumbarton Academy – the only school in West Dunbartonshire where pupils have to stump up for the materials they use. Our Lady and St Patrick’s in Bellsmyre doesn’t – because it was built in an area of deprivation – but Hermitage Academy in Helensburgh does.
