Pie makers from far and wide entered their products into this, the most prestigious pie competition in the world. This year’s bumper crop of entries includes a wide range of products at their peak with accolades being given for the best: Scotch Pie, football pies and savouries, Macaroni Pie, Steak Pie, Sausage Roll, cold savoury, hot savoury, vegetarian savoury, haggis savoury, Bridie and Apple Pie.
All Dressed Up, 1500 Photography, Helensburgh Flowers, The Wedding Planner, Elegance Boutique of Helensburgh, Carr’s Loch Lomond, Get it Glam, Colin Lawrie Bagpiping Services, Totally Tartan Kilt Makers, Jennifer Thomson Hair, The Loch Lomond Arms Hotel and Make up by Debbie have all been named as finalists in the Scottish Confetti Wedding Awards 2020.

Thousands of important photographs depicting great social change in Glasgow in the 50s, 60s and 70s, have been gifted to a university. The archive of more than 50,000 photographs taken by Scots Italian photographer Oscar Marzaroli has been donated to Glasgow Caledonian University.
