Dumbarton Churches Together have established a unified response to support the community of Dumbarton by bringing volunteers and people in need together; this could be something as simple as a weekly/twice weekly telephone call to those who are socially isolated or to help someone who needs food or medications picked up due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Whilst we recognise not all volunteers will have or be able to be PVG checked at this time however they are required to provide the contact details for two referees and agree to abide by our guidelines. We already have 18 volunteers registered to help and expect this to grow as we advertise our service more widely. Our management team are well experienced in delivering community support having worked in a range of education and health/social work backgrounds. We will monitor and support volunteers in their various roles.  Should you know of anyone requiring assistance from us at this time please do not hesitate to get in touch.
