A total of 8672 patients have tested positive for Covid-19, with 1876 currently in hospital.
The report said: “We estimate that during the current lockdown, output in the Scottish economy could fall 33%, primarily because of business closures and other impacts of social distancing.
The figures have been labelled “sad and shocking”, with Labour saying they were “only scratching the surface of the emerging crisis in social care”.
