Jewish Chronicle and Jewish News announce liquidation

The Jewish Chronicle and Jewish News are to be liquidated, it has been confirmed today. In a statement on each website, the titles said that the board of each paper had taken the decision to seek a voluntary liquidation due to the impact of Covid-19. The statements said: “Despite the heroic efforts of the editorial and production team at the newspaper, it has become clear that the Jewish Chronicle/Jewish News will not be able to survive the impact of the current coronavirus epidemic in its current form.”
