VIRUS: HOLIDAY CHEMISTS, GPs AND HOSPITALS

May Day Bank Holiday Service Update

There are some changes to services across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde this Monday on the May Bank Holiday. Please see below for an overview of these changes.

Acute

vale-of-leven-collage-v1-01
All acute services including Emergency Departments and Stobhill, QEUH and Vale of Leven MIUs will continue to operate under the current COVID-19 restrictions.  Please see the NHSGGC website for more details on services and how to access them.  Please note if you have an emergency that requires attendance at an Emergency Department you should continue to attend as normal. We have robust pathways in place at all acute sites to safeguard patients and staff against COVID-19 and you will be triaged appropriately upon arrival.

GP practices

Dumbarton Medical Centre 2
All GP practices in NHSGGC will be open on Bank Holiday Monday and patients should contact their GP as normal for telephone triage and assessment in the first instance. If you have COVID-19 deteriorating symptoms, do not call your GP – instead call NHS 24 on 111.  The COVID-19 Community Assessment Centres will be open on Monday.  At the weekend / evenings usual Out of Hours arrangements will apply.

Pharmacies

Delany's Pharmacy
Most pharmacies are open on Monday 4th May.  For a full list of pharmacies open on please see the list online.  We thank you for your ongoing co-operation during this difficult time.
