TRUMP ADMITS DEATHS WILL BE VASTLY HIGHER President Donald Trump dramatically raised his prediction for the eventual death toll from the coronavirus pandemic within the United States, saying up to 100,000 people could die. That figure is a sharp revision from last month, when he said he believed around 60,000 people would die from the virus. Despite the shift, Trump claimed his response to the outbreak in the United States — where more than 1.1 million people have been infected — had been “successful.”  Huffington Post

  1. You have to laugh.

All these deaths and the madman only a few months ago said that the virus was a hoax, that a cure was soon to be found.

But it’s no laugh at all when you see the pictures of mass graves being dug with mechanical excavators in New York or when you read of the hundred residents dead in an elderly New York care home and where refrigerated trucks had to be brought in to store the bodies.

Ah well, at least the madman Trump’s soul mate Boris Johnson, also of the let the virus rip mentality nearly had a dose of the same economic medicine. That of course does not lessen the tragedy here where the U.K. is heading for the highest death rate in Europe.

Dulce et decorum et, in pro patria mori! Will we ever learn, or are we condemned to repeat the same mistakes over and over again.
