Another five people have died with Covid-19 in Scotland, according to official figures.
It takes the death toll of confirmed coronavirus cases to 1862, but including suspected Covid-19 deaths the total is 3086.
The number of people who have tested positive for the virus in Scotland is up 141 in the last 24 hours to stand at 13,627.
Reporting of deaths is typically lower at weekends and can be “particularly low following a Sunday”, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said.
Patients in intensive care either with the virus or believed to have the virus have decreased by two to 80.
Sturgeon made a plea to Scots “not to get distracted” by messages from England, where the lockdown is beginning to be eased.
Instead she said they must continue to follow Scottish Government guidance, requiring them to stay at home unless it is essential.
“That is not, let me stress, for any political reason, it is because the Scottish Government is not yet confident these changes can be made safely in Scotland yet without running the risk of the virus potentially running out of control again.
“So Scotland’s lockdown restrictions remain in place for now.”
