Drugs recovery in Clydebank

Police Scotland can confirm a quantity of herbal cannabis, with a total estimated value of £30,000 was recovered, along with a five figure sum of cash following a proactive operation in Clydebank.

The recovery took place in Henderson Street, Clydebank,  at around 9.45am on Saturday, 16 May, 2020.

Two men, both aged 25 and a 31-year-old woman have been arrested and charged in connection and are expected to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday, 18 May, 2020.

DCI‎ Ogilvie Ross said: “This was a significant recovery linked with serious and organised crime within Clydebank.

“I want to reassure people that we will continue to use every tool at our disposal to remove Organised Crime from the community.

“Our work relies on the support of the pubic and we would continue to ask anyone who has any information or concerns about drug misuse to contact Police Scotland on 101 or report anything anonymously to Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.”
