  1. I’m surprised that Anas Sarwar isn’t promising that Dumbarton councilors will end the war in Ukraine. It’s a council election for goodness sake and there is a limit to what councils and councillors can do.

    And this is what scunners people with politics. High falutin promises that are not in a councilors remit and gift. And the SNP are at it too with their councilor candidate promises. All wind and more wind. And the voters know it.

    Indeed, listening to what is being promised we’ll have councilors down directing operations in Downing Street.

    Folks however are tired of all this bull. Good solid individuals, supporting good efficient corruption free council services, that is what folks want from their councilors. And that’s what they should vote for on 5th May.
