HEALTH: Public reminded to be aware of multiple May bank holidays

  1. With the Coronation being held on Saturday the 6th isn’t it just fabulous that two days later Monday the 8th is being made a public holiday.

No shortage of public sector funds to pay for an extra day’s holiday. And no economic loss to the shut down of industry in a country with an already slumping economy.

And best of all cancelling hundreds of thousands of hospital appointments, doctors appointments and operations in an already backlogged NHS is no bad thing either.

And God bless the big UK retailers many of whom are closing their outlets on Saturday in respect and deference to the new King.

What recession, what slumping economy, what NHS backlog? God save the King. Load of old tosh.
