
Well, did you catch one? Ace photographer Stewart Cunningham caught this lovely WILD salmon – on his camera, of course – on the River Endrick, a tributary to Loch Lomond at the Pots of Gartness. To add to the tips above for cooking fish, Brenda LagBta Pabandero told The Democrat: “Put the fish such as Sea bass, Sea bream, or trout in a pot, put half tumbler of water, 2-3 cloves of garlic, 1 onion, small piece of ginger, 2 tablespoons of vinegar, a dash of cooking oil, 1/2 tsp sugar, salt and pepper to taste then cook for 20 minutes. Serve with rice.” Before you go fishing, however, you must obtain a licence from the Loch Lomond Angling Association.
