Good Morning Britain’s Susanna Reid had a message about Kate Middleton during a heated debate on today’s show. Susanna and co-host Martin Lewis led a discussion about the new video of Kate and Prince William as they visited a farm shop in Windsor at the weekend.

The stars were joined by Andrew Pierce and The Mirror’s Kevin Maguire to talk about the footage, after the Princess of Wales took a step back from public duties following her abdominal surgery in January. There has been much speculation about Kate’s whereabouts which was intensified after the furore over her edited Mother’s Day snap.

On today’s Good Morning Britain, they discussed the continued speculation about the future Queen, despite the clip taken by a passer-by of her looking happy and healthy while out and about, as writes the Mirror.

Susanna told viewers: “What more do you want?” She started the chat by expressing her shock that people were still asking questions about the royal as she went on: “Serious and sensible people were asking me, you don’t really think that’s her? Yes! That is her, what more do you want? I tell you what, if it wasn’t her, Kensington Palace would have come straight out and said that’s a stunt, that’s a gimmick, that’s someone else, that’s an impersonator. It is her.”

Martin chimed in: “I have struggled with the whole thing. Woman has operation and wants to keep it private and have some time to recover. What’s wrong with that? Give her some time to get better, whatever she’s had done, which is none of my business, just give her some time to get better.”

it comes after online users branded the video of Kate and William “fake” and questioned whether a lookalike had been used.

  • The pictures above have both been edited. Which one is fake?
