Levengrove parkrun’s Hallowe’en celebration

Event Number 170 – Halloween Special – 26th October 2024
A huge thank you to everyone who entered into the “Spirit” of things and made today’s Halloween event such a Spooktacular success. Our photographs capture the happenings superbly. Andy Goodhall oversaw proceedings as Run Director and our Graphic below sums it all up.
A first-time visitor, Iona Murray, a Junior in the 11-14 Category led home the Women’s field in a time of 21 mins 39 secs. Well done Iona. She was followed by Lara Martin in 22:16. Next came Jane O’Donnell of Dundee Road Runners AC with a new Personal Best time of 22:20.
Leading the field home, for the fifth week in a row, was Cambuslang Harrier Alasdair Campbell in 16:07. Next came another first-time visitor, Stephen Ellison of Nidderdale Fell & Trail, followed by another PB performer, Thomas Hill, in 18:45.
Leading Junior was John Kerr, in the 11-14 Category, another with a new PB, 24:25. Congratulations John.
