Alternatively, they can choose a same-day Express or Click & Collect service and deliveries can be made nationwide seven days a week from as little as £1.50.
The partnership with Purpl will start as a trial to help millions of disabled people across the UK.
The discount can also be used alongside Morrisons loyalty card – the More Card – which gives customers access to even more exclusive discounts on a wide range of essentials and favourites as well as 5 More Card Points on every product they buy. Once a customer has saved 5,000 More Card Points, they will receive a Morrisons Fiver which can be redeemed on a future shop, in-store or online.
In the UK, the average family of four spends £117 on groceries per week. With the exclusive 10 per cent discount, disabled households could save about £11.70 per week, £46.40 per month, and £556.80 annually.

Charlotte Exell, Director of Online and Ability Lead for Morrisons, said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Purpl to help make Morrisons more accessible to customers living with a disability. We know from listening to our disabled customers that they often face a number of additional living expenses and so this trial will help lower the cost of their grocery bills.”
Purpl was created in July 2024 by Georgina Colman, who lives with multiple sclerosis and ADHD. She created the platform to alleviate the additional living costs associated with disabilities.
Commenting on the new partnership, she said: “I am so proud that we’ve been able to partner with Morrisons to offer this discount. I know first-hand that living with a disability can be expensive so I’m very pleased that we can help our members with something as essential as their weekly grocery shop.
“The process of getting dressed, going to a store, buying groceries, and taking them back home can take a lot of time and is often more expensive and physically straining for disabled people. By partnering with Morrisons, I hope we can make life easier and more affordable for the disabled community.”ng as non-disabled households.
Along with discounts at Morrisons.com, Purpl members can enjoy deals on other brands like Hoover, Sky, Green People, Debenhams, and hundreds of others. The platform also provides advice and guidance for those living with a disability.

Poor old Morrisons these days. Down in its uppers it was sold some years back to a a foreign New York based private equity group, and since then it has recently sold its petrol station albeit that they still trade using the Morrison brand.
Clearly the newer entrant supermarkets like Aldi and Lidl are taking a bite. Be interesting to see how its goes. How many remember Somerfield, Safeway and the many others. supermarkets now gone.
