We had a lovely opportunity this evening to give a preview of this, our 81st season of live theatre in Dumbarton. Many thanks to Debbie Chalmers and all at Lomond Radio for having Patricia, Elise and Helen as guests.
We chatted with Debbie, selected our favourite musical songs, and announced our comedy programme for this season. YES, every play is a comedy this season!
We start in October with the heartwarming and humour-filled Calendar Girls before our December panto, which this year will be Snow White and the 7 Vale Grannies.
The second half of the season will start with an extremely popular play that never goes out of fashion – Neil Simon’s The Odd Couple, at the end of February, ending the season in May with a very modern and hilarious farce, The Unfriend by renowned TV writer, Steven Moffat.
