The opening of the Post Office follows a community-led effort to save the essential village service.
The new PO is ‘Day to Day’ located at 21 Inkerman Place Garelochhead, the postmistress is named as Farhana Ibraheem and will open from 9am to 6pm weekdays and 9am to 2pm Saturdays, offering the same range of Post Office services as before.
Tributes of appreciation have been expressed to retiring postmistress Ann in recognition for her long and dedicated service.
