Good Morning Scotland could be axed by BBC Scotland …

GOOD Morning Scotland is about to be dropped by BBC Radio Scotland as part of plan to overhaul the station’s programming.

The Times reports that the show, which began in 1973, is “in danger” of being dropped.

It currently runs from 6am to 9am on weekdays and is hosted by Gary Robertson and Laura Maxwell, with a host of other guest presenters.

But it could be removed and replaced by a shorter programme.

Mornings with Kaye Adams, above right, which follows Good Morning Scotland, is also on the list of shows which could be cancelled.

The report also states, however, that Martin Geissler – who hosts the Sunday Show – and Laura MacIver might host a new weekday morning show.
