More and more SNP voters are following the local news in The Dumbarton Democrat. This message is from Councillor Sophie Traynor – Clydebank Central is with Ysortit WestDunbartonshire. West Dunbartonshire Provost Karen Murray Conaghan joined them for “a truly a fantastic afternoon at the “Oktober-fest” event in the Clydebank HUB”.
This was a joint project that I organised in partnership with the Parkhall, North Kilbowie & Central Community Council and YSort It with the aim of creating an afternoon of free activities for local children and families to enjoy.
It was a great success and I truly believe we achieved our goal of bringing some joy and community spirit back to our area.
Thanks to everyone who came along and to all those who helped out. This was made possible through the National Lottery funding, and some support from Bags full of Love.
A special thank you to Patchwork Ponies, Facepaintingbyebony, Animal Man’s Mini Zoo, Improving Lives, Moments of Freemdom and the local Police and Fire Service for coming along and making our event such a success.
