A Helensburgh waterfront pizzeria is hoping to taste success after being named one of the best in the country.
Padrone Pizza, on West Clyde Street, has been nominated for Scotland’s Best Pizzeria in the prestigious Scottish Italian Awards.
The restaurant, run by Milan Nikolic and his team, is no strangers to awards as its sister business, La Barca, has won the Scotland’s Best Mediterranean Restaurant category in the Scottish Hospitality Awards six years in a row.
Judges will include awards ambassador and celebrity chef Aldo Zilli along with experts from the UK Pizza Federation.
The awards celebrate the best of Italian businesses throughout the country, with a glittering ceremony to crown the winners taking place this weekend.
The gala final will take place on Sunday, November 30 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Glasgow.
