The woman whose body was recovered from the River Leven near Sandpoint in Dumbarton on Thursday has now been identified.
She was a 49-year-old who is believed to have lived on a boat at the busy marina, but her name is still to be released by the police.
Officers attended the boatyard opposite the Marinecraft at around 10.40am on Thursday after reports that a body had been found in the water.
A large emergency services presence could be seen at the marina, including an ambulance and a fire engine.
Police Scotland say she has now been identified and her next of kin have been informed.
Her identity has not yet been made public, but it is believed the woman had gone to a shower block near her boat and had accidentally slipped into the water on her way back from her ablutions.
Police are treating the woman’s death as unexplained. They have confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances, although their inquiries into the matter are continuing.
