ENTERTAINMENT: Duck Bay Sets Its Sights on a World-Class Marina Future

Duck Bay Hotel, Restaurant & Luxury Cottages

The most ambitious and exciting element of Duck Bay’s future vision is the creation of a world-class marina and yacht haven — a legacy facility the venue previously enjoyed and has always retained the rights to re-establish.
The marina will be enjoyed from 180-degree panoramic views through floor-to-ceiling windows within an extended Bobby’s Coffee Bar, for which full planning approval has already been secured.
Alan Cawley said:
“Anyone who knows our people, our culture and our standards will understand that there will be no compromise. I am committed to creating the most glamorous and prestigious marina and yacht haven ever seen on Loch Lomond.”
There has been a clear surge in demand for premium leisure experiences, and Duck Bay is uniquely positioned to deliver the definitive berthing destination on Loch Lomond.
Alan revealed that since discreetly sharing his vision with a select number of business contacts, he has already received early expressions of interest to secure prime berths within the proposed development.
“I believe it will set a new benchmark for leisure and lifestyle on Loch Lomond. A marina naturally becomes a place to gather — vibrant, elegant and full of atmosphere. For the boating community, it will offer seamless access to everything Duck Bay has to offer, from Duck Bay Hotel and Restaurant and Windows on the Loch to Bobbys at the Bay and our signature Jetty Bar — all delivered with the exceptional level of service people associate with a Cawley & Cawley venue.”
Alan added:  “My wife Lynn and I are immensely proud to own such an iconic venue as Duck Bay. We recognise that every business — even one as successful as Duck Bay — must continue to reinvest, evolve and aspire to ever-higher standards.”
Cawley & Cawley has continued to thrive for over 40 years, recently celebrating this milestone anniversary. The company has also reported and posted the most successful financial results in its history over the past two years, with continued momentum despite a challenging market.
Alan added: “Hospitality is, above all, about people. I truly believe we have the best team in the business. Their dedication, professionalism and loyalty have made everything possible. Without them, quite simply, you have nothing.”
