Nearly £1,200 was raised for the Loch Lomond Rescue Boat as jet skiers gathered on the banks of the loch at Luss in freezing cold conditions for their annual New Year fundraiser, supported by the lifeboat crew in attendance. Founded in 1977, the Rescue Boat is an independent, volunteer-crewed lifeboat service that relies on donations to attend around 100 call-outs per year. Pictures by Rhu Bay
