Rhu Bay
Dozens of paddle-boarders gathered at Rhu Point alongside the charity Surfers Against Sewage to protest against water pollution. The demonstrators demanded greater transparency, urgent action on sewage dumps, and the independent regulator to enforce 100% sewage discharge, along with monitoring by the newly elected Scottish Government. The demonstration was part of a coordinated UK-wide action, featuring 56 simultaneous “Paddle-Out” events.
