It was a huge honour to welcome His Majesty The King today following the Cairngorms wildfire, meeting firefighters, landowners, community leaders, representatives of UK and US National Parks, and our Junior Rangers. King Charles then unveiled a commemorative stone from Shenandoah National Park, marking our mutual friendship and cooperation. The Cairngorms are hosting the UK’s biggest conference of National Parks, including the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, focusing on speeding up action to counter growing threats to nature and our communities.
