Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park
That’s a wrap on another camping management bylaw season.
Camping permits are not needed, and our National Park campsites are now closed until next year. Over the season, 14,700 permit bookings have helped us manage and protect some of our most popular and cherished loch shores. Thanks to everyone who camped responsibly and helped us look after these special places this season.
We’ve also had some lovely feedback from visitors:
“The ranger was so friendly! We had a brief chat just as I had arrived and was ready to get set up… A great experience for my first time away in my van.”
“It is natural, basic, and low-key. Great to have the fire pits and wood option, plus great relaxed but helpful staff.”
Of course, we can’t please everyone. One visitor was not happy about their ‘inconsiderate’ neighbours… “Evict the geese; they are so noisy.”
Prefer camping when it’s a little chillier? You won’t need a camping permit again until March 2027.
