CRIME RATES RISE ACROSS SCOTLAND
In West Dunbartonshire, the total number of crimes rose by 13% between 2017/18 and 2018/19 from 4,189 to 4,716 and in Argyll and Bute there was an increase of 5% between from 2,264 to 2,367. Both local authorities saw an increase in violent crimes including homicide, attempted murder and robbery.
