Rent setting consultation
First stage
West Dunbartonshire Council’s rent setting consultation began with a special participation event at Clydebank Town Hall . Peter Barry, Strategic Lead for Housing, pictured above, gave an update on how tenants rent money is spent and about the different options on proposed rent levels. Tenants discussed these options and gave their views on proposals before agreeing options that are now ready for all tenants to vote on.
The event was well attended and a copy of the presentation and a detailed explanation of how all tenants rent is spent are available to download below.

Second stage
Rent options discussed at public event are now being put to a public vote – voting cards will be available in the winter edition of the Housing News , from your Housing Officer or you can to vote online at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/Rentconsultation2020-21
Voting will close on December 15th 2019.
Third stage
Tenants preferred option will be presented to Housing Committee for agreement in February 2020.
