Former shipyard workers willing to share their experiences about the industry are being asked to come forward to help with a new project. Townsend Theatre Productions is turning to the shipbuilding industry in a bid to explore the positive impact it had on communities and the legacy it has left behind. The group aim to record interviews with individuals and arrange group discussions to build a picture of the time, personal stories of the different types of work, and the impact of the closure.
