Alan Steven Rae age 18 went missing whilst away with at Army camp at Garelochhead. He’s meant to have drowned in the Holy Loch, but yet his wallet was found a year later and was examined by forensic experts who said it had never been in the water. He was seen walking towards the camp by a minister and also stopped by police. Does anyone have any information about his whereabouts or what happened to him?
The aim of the sessions is to highlight issues of free expression in Scotland, and what individuals from across society can do to protect themselves and be able to contribute to the national debate on key issues within the confines of the law.
The bishops of the Holy Land Co-ordination, including Scotland’s Bishop William Nolan of the Diocese of Galloway, who visit the region every year in support of the local Church to promote dialogue and peace, said they were inspired by the enduring resilience of the people they met in Gaza, East Jerusalem and Ramallah despite the worsening situation.

A recent in-depth study by Reuters Institute researchers showed that under-25s seldom went to mainstream publishers for news. The findings will be presented on the evening – sponsored by the Society of Editors and Cision – at Stationers’ Hall near St Paul’s. The panel discussion will be followed by a Q&A, and then networking over glasses of wine.
