West Dunbartonshire residents are being encouraged to highlight Council employees who “have gone above and beyond”.
Residents can nominate employees who have gone the extra mile to help them or benefit the local community for an Employee Recognition Award.
The annual event recognises the hard work and dedication of employees who regularly deliver excellent services.
Every nominee will receive a personal letter from Chief Executive Joyce White, and those shortlisted will be invited along to a presentation in Clydebank Town Hall on Tuesday 24 March.
CEO Joyce White – a personal letter for every nominee – and Cllr Iain McLaren.
Categories will include Team of the Year, Employee of the Year, Young Ambassador of the Year and the Communities Award.
Councillor Iain McLaren, Vice Convener of Corporate Services, said: “I’d urge anyone who has been grateful for the hard work of an employee to please consider nominating that person so we can properly celebrate them.
“We know we have many dedicated employees who are a credit to the Council in so many different areas, from home care visits to street cleaning, and these members of staff often go above and beyond what is expected.
“The Employee Awards are about recognising those efforts and letting our employees know how valued they are. Many of these people are unsung heroes, who work tirelessly under the radar, making improvements for residents, so it is important for us to say thank you.”
