TWO BODIES AND CRASHED CAR FOUND ON ARGYLL SHORE

STOP PRESS; Two named following fatal crash on B8024, Argyll. Police Scotland can confirm the names of a man and a woman who died following a road crash on the B8024 in the Ormsary area of Argyll.  They have been named as 19-year-old Jasmine Herron and 37-year old, father to three young boys, Jonathan Graham. Their car was found around 9am on Sunday, 26 January.  Sergeant Paul MacPherson, of Police Scotland’s Road Policing Unit, said: “Our thoughts remain with the families of both Jasmine and Jonathan at this difficult time.  Our investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision continues and we are speaking with witnesses.  Anyone with information can contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 1164 of 26 January.”

Two people – a 37-year-old man and a teenage girl – have died following a road crash on a remote road in the Ormsary area of Argyll.

Police were made aware of a car which was found on the shoreline south of Ormsary around 9am on Sunday, 26 January.

The bodies of the 37-year-old man and 19-year-old woman were found nearby.  The next of kin of both the man and the woman have been made aware.

Sergeant Paul MacPherson, of Police Scotland’s Road Policing Unit, said: “Inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this tragic incident which has resulted in the deaths of two people.

“I would urge anyone with information which could help our investigation or who may have seen the car at any time overnight to let us know as soon as they can.

“Any information can be passed to police by calling 101, quoting incident 1164 of 26 January.”
