SCOTTISH EXAM RESULTS CONTINUE TO DECLINE

The statistics show pupils exam performance has fallen by up to 10%, with 1,515 fewer pupils passing their Higher English Exam,  a reduction of 5.5% on the previous year and the lowest number since 2014.
