First Glasgow have put single bus fares up to a whopping £3.25, leaving us with some of the most expensive buses in the UK .

One disgruntled passenger, Paul Shaw, said: “It’s clear that the private operators are hiking prices to capitalise on our ridiculous deregulated system before franchising comes in.
