In a joint exercise, Trading Standards, alongside officers from Police Scotland and the Home Office, visited six shops on June 2 and 3, as part of a crackdown on illegal activity.
The action was taken following concerns reported to the authorities by members of the public about premises in Clydebank, Dumbarton, and Alexandria.

With the help of detection dogs, 29,540 counterfeit cigarettes and 9.9 kg of hand rolling tobacco was seized.
He said: “This operation highlights our commitment to protecting the public, supporting lawful traders and acting against those involved in criminality.
“It demonstrates the effectiveness of partnership working and the importance of intelligence from the public in helping us disrupt organised criminality and protect local communities.
“We will continue to work together to target areas of concern and stop the illegal sale of counterfeit goods.
