Petra and her sisterThanks for the response from local businesses – there is still time to donate to 1st Dumbarton Cubs on the 7th December 10-2pm in St Patrick’s Church Hall.  Democrat editor BILL HEANEY will be there giving away FREE copies of his local book, Two Minutes Silence, but only if you give a donation of whatever you can afford to the Marie Curie Nurses, whose patron PETRA McMILLAN (pictured left with her sister Gwen Erika)  has just returned from a fund-raising climb of Mount Everest. Please put a penny in the old man’s hat and help local families whose loved ones are in the last stages of terminal illness. THE BOOK’S A GREAT CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR GRANNYS AND GRAMPAS.
