Appeal for missing person – George Sutherland, Dumbarton

George SutherlandPolice Scotland have released a new CCTV image in a bid to trace a 45-year-old man missing from Dumbarton.

George Sutherland, left, has not been seen by family or friends since Sunday, 8 March and the last confirmed sighting of him was on CCTV at 8.45pm near to Dalreoch Train Station, West Bridgend, Dumbarton.

George is described as white, 6ft 2in, of slim build with short grey and white hair.

When last seen he was wearing a dark jacket, a light coloured top and jeans.

Inspector John Forrest, from Dumbarton Police Office said: “George was last seen on CCTV near to the train station and we are keen to trace his movements prior to and after this.

“It is unusual for George not to be in contact with his family and we are appealing for anyone with information which may help to trace him to get in touch.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 3765 of 8 March.
