Police in Glasgow and Dunbartonshire are appealing for the public’s assistance to trace a woman reported missing from the east of the city.
Karen Murphy, pictured right, was last seen around 8pm on Monday, 13 January leaving Gartnavel Hospital on Great Western Road.
The 53-year-old has not been seen or in contact with anyone since this time and concern is growing for her welfare.
She is described as around 5ft 4ins tall with grey/blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a khaki parka-style jacket with a fur hood and black trousers.
She has previous connections to Dumbarton and West Dunbartonshire and may seek to travel to these areas and the Glasgow City Centre area.
Inspector Gavin Smith from Partick Police Station said: “As the passage of time increases we are becoming very concerned for her welfare and it is imperative that we trace her current whereabouts as soon as possible so that we know she is safe.
“I would ask anyone who has seen Karen in the past 24 hours, or has any information on her whereabouts, to get in touch with officers immediately.”
Those with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 and quote incident number 0058 of 13th January.
